This course provides a foundation to the basic concepts that apply to all aspects of audio production. It is an introduction to basic audio techniques for film, radio, and television production. Emphasis is placed on effective use of words, music and/or sound effects in the production of audio. Audio production and post-production are covered, with a focus on production. The development of sound technology and its influence on various media, a well as radio history are examined.
