This course is offered at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, but required for the Dual Nursing Degree.
This course examines health determinants and health disparities within the US as well as in the global community. The student will examine health disparities and the burden of disease within social, cultural, political, economic, and environmental contexts. Students will examine strategies aimed at risk reduction and improvement through outcomes. Prerequisite with concurrency: NUR 410.
