The Diesel Technology program prepares students for careers in the diesel equipment and transportation industries. Students receive hands-on training in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and related systems, including fuel systems, electrical and electronic controls, hydraulic systems, drivetrain components, steering and suspension systems, and preventive maintenance procedures. Instruction combines classroom theory with practical laboratory experience using industry-standard equipment and diagnostic tools. Graduates are prepared for entry-level employment as diesel technicians in trucking, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, marine, and other diesel-powered industries.
